Margin Improvements on Amazon

Amazon Unboxed London 2026 had a real buzz to it, the kind you only get when you bring together smart, curious people who genuinely care about where the industry is heading. The Highlands Europe Ecommerce team captured that feeling well, highlighting how energising it was to step out of the day-to-day and into a room full of partners, innovators, and like-minded thinkers.

What really shone through was Amazon’s commitment to making life easier for brands and agencies. Tools like Creative Agent and Ads Agent aren’t just impressive pieces of tech; they’re practical. They let teams build good-looking, effective content quickly, using assets brands already have. That shift means less friction, faster cycles, and more space for creativity. It’s a welcome change, and the team’s excitement about it felt genuine and well-earned.

The updates to AMC and DSP also point to a more flexible and inclusive ecosystem. Brands that don’t live exclusively on Amazon now have smarter ways to reach audiences and understand performance. It feels like Amazon is opening doors rather than creating barriers — and that’s a refreshing direction for the platform.

Another thing that came through clearly was the sense of community. Being able to meet partners face-to-face, share ideas, and swap experiences adds a layer of warmth and trust you can’t replicate over a Teams call. The Highlands team made a point of calling this out, and it’s easy to see why; relationships matter, and this kind of event strengthens them.

If there’s one takeaway, it’s this: Amazon is evolving quickly, but in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. The tools are getting smarter. The workflows are getting smoother. And the opportunities for brands, big or small, are becoming more accessible than ever.

It’s an exciting moment for anyone working in this space, and the Highlands team’s reflections make it clear that the future isn’t just fast-moving, it’s genuinely full of possibility.
